Are you interested in a non-thesis Master’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering?

There are two paths through the Professional Master’s Program:
1.       Biomedical Device Development
2.       Biomedical Device Development with Industry Immersion
Both options offer:
·         Flexibility: Coursework can be customized to advance career goals.
·         Efficiency: Concentrated coursework can be completed in as little as three semesters.
·         Value: The program features a strong emphasis in regulatory affairs, leadership, and professional development.
·         Convenience: Up to 40% of coursework can be completed online by taking courses offered through Purdue’s Engineering Professional Education that are part of the curriculum for the master of science in biomedical engineering.
Both options result in:
·         A functional understanding of the design and development of biomedical products and processes at the systems level
·         A practical understanding of the processes to ensure quality, testing, and approval of biomedical products
·         A more seasoned ability to make well-reasoned, ethical-, and socially-responsible engineering decisions in a variety of scenarios
·         An experienced skill-set of communicating clearly, negotiating effectively, and leading strategically while contributing to biomedical engineering projects
