hospitals are safe. DMI clients include the University of Chicago Hospitals, Northwestern Memorial, Advocate
Healthcare and Presence Healthcare. Our technicians are required to provide the highest level of customer service,
while improving the reliability of the life safety systems.
DMI Medical is a distributor of medical gas equipment and serves parts of a 3-state region. DMI sells, inspects and
services medical gas systems for hospitals, surgery centers, eye centers, and long term care facilities. DMI teaches
our technicians the NFPA standards and testing techniques needed to be successful in this field. Once our standards
and training have been met, DMI technicians are asked to take the lead, and make decisions, based on code, when it
comes to inspecting medical gas systems.
DMI is seeking full time, hard working applicants, who are customer focused, self-motivated with mechanical aptitude.
You will be asked to take the lead inspecting medical gas systems in hospitals. Computer skills and a good detail
oriented attitude are a must. Applicants must be a science degreed graduate and have a high grade point average.
The right candidate will have:

>Strong follow-through and perseverance to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Order of the Engineer Ceremony


The Order of the Engineer is one-time ceremony offered to graduating seniors to enable new engineers to publicly pledge a commitment to high ethical standards and integrity in the practice of the engineering profession.  As such it is a ceremony honoring students’ transition to into their professional career.  A stainless steel ring, worn on the fifth finger of the working hand, serves as a symbol of this commitment to serving with integrity in their profession.
