Research Opportunity

Hello Everyone,

You are invited to participate in a study so that we can understand mental states of people while when they are generating concepts.  This involves you wearing a wireless EEG device (see our device here: http://www.advancedbrainmonitoring.com/xseries/x10/), which involves putting conductive cream on your hair. You will also wear a device on your wrist that measures your skin conductance. The entire process will take approximately 1.5 hours (2 hours max). We will offer $20/hr. for your participation.

If you are interested in participating in the study. Please complete the prescreening survey via the following link:
https://purdue.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_a4NFg4Bk8thXz9j

The survey will gather some information about your travel experience because we are looking for a specific group of participants. You will be informed via a follow up email if you met the eligibility criteria or not. The survey should take no more than 5 minutes to complete.

Your participation is voluntary and you may choose to stop the study at any time. All data will be kept confidential and no personal information such as your name, address, or phone number will be collected on the survey. Results of this research will be made available upon your request.

If you would like more information, please contact Wan-Lin Hu via email at hu188@purdue.edu

Hope to hear from you soon!

Sincerely,
Research Team
